An upcoming project on the Fisher Creek Trail in Janesville is going to see some extension work done.

City Engineer Brad Reents says it will be done in two phases, with phase one including the construction of a 10-foot wide paved off-road trail starting north of Court Street along Austin Road to Dartmouth Drive.

Reents says phase two of the project will see another 10-foot-wide paved off-road trail start at Rockport Road and travel north to West Court Street.

A community informational meeting on the project is being held February 28th from 5:30 to 6:30pm in the cafeteria at Janesville Parker High School.
