A Beloit man is accused of sexually assaulting a woman he had just met after she gave him permission to give her a back massage.
20-year-old Jacob Thompson appeared before Court Commissioner Mason Braunschweig Friday morning for his preliminary hearing on charges of third degree sexual assault, obstructing an officer, and two counts of felony bail jumping.
Braunschweig found that enough evidence had presented that a felony had been committed by Thompson and bound him over for trial.
Thompson’s attorney Walter Isaacson entered not guilty pleas on his behalf for all of the charges. He is currently being held in the Rock County Jail on a $20,000 cash bond.
Thompson is due back in court on March 7th.
