It wasn’t just one tornado but two that touched down last week in southern Wisconsin.

National Weather Service Meteorologist Marcia Cronce says a smaller tornado started one mile northwest of Juda along Highway 11 and traveled to two miles southeast of Albany after crossing the Sugar River..

That EF-1 tornado traveled a little over eight miles and had estimated peak winds of 110 miles per hour.

The second tornado, a high-end EF-2 began three miles south of Evansville and traveled for more than 24 miles, ending on the northeast side of Lake Koshkonong.
