A child and family care center in Elkhorn is holding series of classes for non-parental caregivers.

Tree House Program and Prevention Coordinator Madeline Robertson says this class will help caregivers who are taking care of kids whose parents have had to deal with substance misuse.

Robertson says the first class Thursday will feature first hand stories and experiences from a person in recovery and a family members, and another class on February 22nd deals with adverse childhood experiences and how they can contribute to lifelong problems.
