According to the National Weather Service, a tornado that touched down in Evansville Thursday night is the first-ever reported in February in the state of Wisconsin.

The Rock County Communications Center says they’ve received calls of downed powerlines and roofs torn off the tops of buildings, and as of 7:49pm Thursday the entire city of Evansville is without power.

The Center says they’re setting up a mobile command center in Evansville and agencies from multiple surrounding municipalities are assisting.

Tolles Road between W. County Highway M and U.S. Highway 14 is being closed because of damage from the storm.
