The City of Beloit reaffirms its commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

On Monday night, the Beloit City Council approved a proclamation declaring February 2024 as Black History Month.

2024’s Black History theme focuses on “African Americans and the Arts.”

The Beloit City Council also approved a proclamation declaring February 10th as Black HERstory Day in honor of the late Vickie Lynn.
