The Beloit and Janesville Leagues welcome the community to attend this event and learn more about the organizations from its members. Office holders and candidates running for office in the Spring Elections are invited to attend and be introduced to the audience.
Sara Finger, founder and executive director of Wisconsin Alliance for Women’s Health recently renamed Embolden WI will speak to embolden audience members to assertively advocate for public policy that advances health equity and civic health in our state. Sara says, “We’re ensuring every policy making table includes supported and sustained seats for community members who have been chronically missing from these critical conversations.” Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in health advocacy during the brunch. Advanced ticket sales for the brunch and program are required and available at an Early Bird rate of $30 when purchased online or by check postmarked by January 31. Tickets purchased after that date through February 8 are $35. Student tickets are $10. Tickets are non-refundable, but are transferable to another guest or may be considered a donation to the Leagues. Proceeds (after expenses) from the event will be shared equally to support the work of the two local leagues. Visit the LWV Janesville website,
