The Woodside Terrace affordable housing complex in Beloit is going to be some upgrades after a housing preservation developer has bought it.
Community Preservation Partners Vice President John Fraser says they are doing a number of interior and exterior renovations including making some units A-D-A compliant, new flooring, and kitchen upgrades like new cabinets and Energy Star rated appliances.
Fraser says as part of the renovations, they’ll be making community space upgrades such as a new playground, gazebo, dog park, and bike racks; while improving travel paths to enhance residents experience.
CPP’s total investment is about $27.4 million, including a purchase price of $8 million; and renovations are expected to be done by November of this year.
