A 38-year-old Janesville man who was arrested for possession of child pornography in 2022 takes a plea deal in Rock County Court.

Tuesday morning in Rock County Court, Judge Derrick Grubb accepted a guilty plea from Derek Miller to a single count of possession of child pornography. Four other counts were dismissed but read in to the record.

Judge Grubb sentenced Miller to three years in prison – the mandatory minimum – and seven years of extended supervision.

Miller was arrested in July of 2022 after a search warrant turned up more than 350 images of children being sexually assaulted.
