A stretch of rural highway in Rock County is going to see some safety improvement and big changes as part of an upcoming Wisconsin DOT project.

Project Manage Chris Hazard says the project will see work along Highway 213 between from Highway 11 in Orfordville to Highway 59 in Evansville and will include resurfacing, shoulder widening, and putting in a round-a-bout at 213 and 59.

Hazard says they’ll be holding an informational meeting Wednesday, January 24th from 4:30 to 6:00pm at Creekside Place Community Center in Evansville where people can get details on the project and ask questions.

The project is slated to start in 2027.
