A 25-year-old Whitewater man is charged with the armed robbery of a local gas station earlier this month.

Whitewater Police say officers were dispatched to the Kwik Trip on Elkhorn Road just before 3:00 the morning of January 3rd.

Employees told police the suspect’s card was declined for a purchase so he pulled a gun from his waistband and threatened to shoot before leaving with the item.

A short time later officers were dispatched to a nearby home where the same suspect was brandishing a weapon and frightening the caller.

Whitewater Police arrested 25-year-old Noel J. Gonzalez on suspicion of armed robbery, carrying a concealed weapon, and disorderly conduct.
