Seven black-owned businesses showcase what they’ve learned during the 10-week Jumpstart accelerator program.
Founder and Executive Director Genia Stevens says the public is invited to the event that runs from 5:30 until 8:00 p.m. on March 19th at the Beloit Public Library.
Participating businesses include a food truck, a videography business, a non-profit that serves victims of domestic violence, a desert business, an electrician, a contracting business, and a hair salon.
Stevens says the top three businesses will receive prizes, including a top prize of $5000.
