Rock County’s Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force is taking the time to let people know January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month.

Mercy Health Forensic Nurse Coordinator Jamie Counsell says they’ve asked residents to share a calendar that has 31 activities people can do such as wearing blue on January 11th to spread awareness.

Counsell says they do the best they can to go out into the community, and are always willing to hold panel sessions at schools, churches, advocacy groups, and law enforcement agencies to spread the word.
