The American Red Cross is assisting two-families after a duplex fire in Beloit.  The fire department responded to the 100-block of Bluff Street about 2:00 p.m. Tuesday.  A fire department Facebook Post reports the occupants and a family dog had already safely escaped.  One  firefighter was transported to a local hospital as a precaution.  Damage is considered extensive.  Officials say the cause is under investigation.
