The Janesville Police Department was investigating a possible bomb threat at the Blain’s Farm and Fleet in Janesville Tuesday evening.

According to a release the department received information regarding a possible threat and evacuated the store Tuesday including the inside of the building and vehicles in the parking lot.

The release says officers were actively working to assess the information and credibility of the threat, and residents may have encountered an increased presence of first responders in the area.

Officers ask that if anyone sees something that raises concerns, they should contact Rock County Dispatch or the Janesville Area Crime Stoppers.
