The Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin is hoping to help shelter animals find their forever homes this holiday season.

Adoption Supervisor Dixie Scheehle says they’re once again taking part in the Bissell Pet Foundation’s “Empty the Shelter” event, and people will be able to spin a wheel to get lower adoption fees between $0 and $25.

Scheehle says they like being able to partner with a group like Bissell because lowering the cost of adoption fees can make getting a rescue animal a possibility for people who may not have been able to before.

“Empty the Shelter” runs from December 1st through the 17th and the Humane Society.
