City of Janesville utility crews are dealing with a water main break at the corner of South Atwood Avenue and East Court Street.

Water Utility Superintendent Craig Thiessenhusen says Atwood Avenue will be closed from Milton Avenue to East Court Street during repairs.

Thiessenhusen says it’s a little too early to call the water main break cold related, as the frost hasn’t really sunk into the ground yet.

Thiessenhusen says he expects the road to be fully reopened by about 3:00 Tuesday afternoon.
