The State Department of Public Instruction is out with its latest school report cards, and Beloit did a little better than last year

Beloit Learning Academy was the highest rated school with a score of three stars which “meets expectations.”

Beloit Memorial High School, Fran Fruzen and Aldrich Intermediate Schools, and Converse Elementary received two star ratings of “meets few expectations”.

Over half of the district’s schools – including the rest of the elementary and intermediate schools – received one star ratings of “fails to meet expectations.”

The school district’s overall score of 50.6 is up from 48.7 last year.
