The Rock County Jail’s Chaplaincy is once again holding their Gifts for the Children drive for the kids of those at the jail.
Chaplain Julaine Williams says they’ll be accepting unwrapped, new and unused gift and toys from kids ages zero to twelve; along with gifts cards to popular retailers for older kids between the ages of thirteen and seventeen.
Williams says they’ve been holding the drive for over fifty years, and last year alone they helped about 200 families and over 600 children.
Williams says if people aren’t sure what type of toy or gift to buy, they can make monetary donations to the cause.
People can arrange to drop of gifts by contacting Williams or by visiting the Janesville Athletic Club until Monday November, 28th.
