A 26-year-old Janesville man who was arrested in April after a cyber tip led to his arrest on child sex crimes, takes a plea deal in Rock County Court.

According to online court records, Christopher Senecal plead guilty to five counts of possession of child pornography Thursday morning.

Judge Derrick Grubb dismissed but read into the record additional charges of exposing a child to harmful material and first degree sexual assault of a child.

According to a criminal complaint, a cyber tip sent to the Janesville Police department alerted them to Senecal, whose information was used to log in a Google account where 46 files including child pornography were found.

Senecal is due back in court for sentencing on February 5th.
