The Evansville Community School District’s five-year operational referendum is set to expire next June.

Interim District Administrator Steve Lutzke says the Board of Education is currently looking at replacing that referendum with a new referendum, however no decision has been made.

Lutzke says a survey will be going out to community members this week.

The Evansville School Board will discuss whether they want to hire consultant the Donovan Group at their meeting Wednesday evening.

The decision about actually placing a referendum question on the April ballot wouldn’t come until January 10th.
