A contractor working for the City of Janesville will begin making repairs to sections of concrete pavement at various locations on Milton Avenue starting Monday.

Assistant City Engineer Lisa Wolf says the work will be happening in the southbound lanes between Woodcrest Drive and Kettering Street, and in the southbound lanes between Morse Street and Humes Road.

Wolf says the work will take about two weeks to complete.

The work will be staged so that only one lane of Milton Avenue will be closed at a time.

Drivers are encouraged to reduce speeds in the work zones and to stay alert to changing traffic patterns.
