A Janesville drug investigation leads to the seizure of more than 3.5 of cocaine, 4.5 of marijuana, six guns, and $75,000 in cash.

According to a news release, Janesville Police arrested 28-year-old Taiwan Edwards of Janesville at the Kwik Trip on East Milwaukee Street Wednesday afternoon.

Edwards had been the subject of a drug investigation conducted by the Janesville Police Department’s street crimes unit and the Wisconsin Department of Justice.

As part of the investigation three search warrants were served by members of the street crimes unit, DCI, the DEA, Wisconsin State Patrol, and Beloit Police.

Edwards is currently being held at the Rock County Jail.
