The Wisconsin Department of Transportation plans to resurface State Highway 213 from the state line to Broad Street in Beloit.

Public Works Director Bill Frisbee says additional land will need to be acquired so existing sidewalk curb ramps can be made ADA complaint.

Frisbee says the City will need to pay to acquire some land by the DOT will reimburse the cost.

The Beloit City Council approved the land acquisition, which included eight parcels at their regular meeting this week.
