Getting registered to vote would be a lot easier under a bill being introduced by first-term democrats in the Wisconsin Assembly.

State Representative Clinton Anderson co-sponsored the legislation that would create an automatic voter registration system in Wisconsin.

Anderson says his bill would require people to opt out if they DON’T want to register to vote.

The Beloit Democrat says any barrier to a citizen’s participation, however small, is also a barrier to democracy.
