The Rock County Walk to End Alzheimer’s is back for another installment as they try to raise $58,000 in the fight against the disease.

Alzheimer’s Association Program Director Wendy Betley says this year’s two mile walk takes place Saturday, September 23rd at Palmer Park in Janesville and opens at 8:30am with opening ceremonies taking place at 10:00am.

Betley says they have a lot of what they call “ghost walkers” or “ghost teams”, and people can still help by putting a team together and raising money but they don’t need to be there the day for the walk itself.
