Some local state legislators want to expand the options for identification when picking up a prescription from a pharmacy.
45th Assembly District Representative Clinton Anderson says he’s authored a bill that would allow the use of a foreign issued identification card or document to be used to pick up a prescription so long as the document has a photo.
The Beloit Democrat says a recent Latino-focused listening session identified the inability to obtain medication without out a US government issued ID is a top issue.
The bill is being co-authored by State Senator Mark Spreitzer and State Representative Jimmy Anderson.
