An upcoming Community Health Fair is giving students and families in the Beloit School District plenty of the resources they might need to start off the school year on the right note.

Superintendent Willie Garrison says the fair will include plenty of free things like haircuts, school supplies, dental assessments by HealthNet, and immunizations by the Beloit Area Community Health Center and SSM Health.

Todd Elementary Principal Samuel Karns says they’re trying to limit some of the barriers which might prevent families by attending by having a shuttle service running from Merrill, Todd, and Gaston elementary schools to the high school.

The fair will be held Saturday at the Beloit Memorial High School Field House from 10am until 2pm.
