In a little over two weeks students will return to the UW-Whitewater at Rock County campus.

Campus Dean Tricia Clasen says enrollment numbers are looking good and they’re up nearly 25% compared to fall of last year and have their best enrollment numbers since 2021.

Clasen says the increase in enrollment can be attributed to being a part of UW-Whitewater for the last five years, building great partnerships with increased programming, and people simply paying more attention to the two year school.

Clasen says though their Partners in Engineering Program with UW-Platteville, a new industrial engineering area has been added and they’re hoping to continue to attract students into their engineering program.

Clasen estimates total enrollment for fall of 2023 will be a little over 700 students.
