A concerning shortfall in blood donations last month could stress the American Red Cross blood supply.

Regional Communications Manager Laura McGuire says someone needs a blood transfusion every two seconds in the United States.

Blood drives are happening on Tuesday from noon until 5:00 p.m. at the Beloit Life Center, and on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Center in Milton.
