Whitewater Police are investigating a bank robbery.

According to a news release, officers were dispatched to the Fort Community Credit Union just before 3:30 Friday afternoon on the report of a robbery.

Investigation determined a man wearing a black medical mask, sunglasses, and a grey zip-up hoodie over a bright yellow t-shirt approached the counter with a note demanding money.

No weapon was shown or implied, and the suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a tall white man with a slender build.

He left in a dark hatchback vehicle with white stripes.
