Key dates have been set for the Milton School District’s 2023-2024 budget process.

Superintendent Richard Dahman says the board will approve full-time teacher contracts at its first meeting in May, and at their May 22nd meeting, the board will approve administrator and support staff full-time contracts.

Dahman says then the preliminary 2023-24 district budget will be approved at the school board’s second meeting in June, which will be June 26th if the board keeps their current schedule.

Dahman says he has also been giving budget process updates at staff meetings, and he intends on giving similar updates at parent group meetings while continuing to take steps to ensure they will have a balanced budget.
