A 58-year-old Janesville who was charged with possession more than 200 images of naked pre-pubescent children takes a plea deal in Rock County Court.

Police executed a search warrant on Curt D. Hollis’ residence in July of last year after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

According to the criminal complaint Hollis told police he likes looking at naked people of all ages and that he though the photos were legal because of a disclaimer on the website.

Hollis was originally charged with three counts of possession of child pornography.

In Rock County Court Wednesday morning, Hollis plead guilty to a single charge of possession of child pornography, and no contest to three counts of a misdemeanor computer crime.

Judge Jeffrey Kuglitsch withheld the finding of guilty on the child porn charge and sentenced Hollis to 24 months of probation and 90 days in jail on the computer crimes charges.
