A Janesville man charged in connection to a fatal head-on crash Sunday morning is being held on a $100,000 cash bond.

Mark McCoy was arrested for homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle and three counts of felony bail jumping. He is scheduled to return April 28th for an adjourned initial appearance. Emergency crews were called to South County Road D just south of West Hanover Road at around 6 a.m. for a report of a two-vehicle head-on crash. Mark McCoy also faces charges in Green County in connection to cases from last year and 2021. McCoy is charged with maintaining a drug trafficking place; manufacturing marijuana and psilocyn; possession of cocaine with intent to deliver; felon in possession of a firearm; and felony bail jumping. In a separate case from 2021, Mark McCoy faces eight felony drug charges; and possession of a firearm by a felon.
