Janesville Police made a trio of arrests Wednesday in connection to a recent crime spree in the city.

Shortly after 8:00am Wednesday, officers from the Janesville Police Department responded to a burglary complaint on Oakhill Avenue and during the course of that investigation the officers learned of an additional burglary, an auto theft, and several attempted frauds.

Then, at noon Wednesday, Officers were called to Sharon Drive for three subjects checking doors to homes in the area. The three subjects were in a stolen car from one of the burglaries being investigated from earlier in the day.

Police placed two adults and one juvenile in custody while operating the stolen Cadillac, and officers are still trying to locate a dog that was stolen during one of the burglaries.
