Officials with the School District of Beloit go back to the drawing board after a pair of referendum questions fail to pass Tuesday.

Superintendent Willie Garrison says his priorities for the district are unwavering, the include academic achievement, continuous improvement, and core service at the highest level.

A $19.5 million facilities referendum failed by just 112 votes, and a $23 million two-year non-reoccurring operational referendum failed by 405 votes.

Garrison says the district plans to bring forth a new proposal next year.
