Janesville’s 2023 Spring Mighty Oak Awards were given out Thursday at the City Manager’s All Hands Meeting.

Communications Specialist Nick Faust says the awards are given to those who have strong roots in the community, are able to withstand personal and professional trials, and are multi-talented in their service to the city.

Faust says Carri Salus, Xandi Finn, Vicky Miller, Jake Seuferer, Lance Prokopec and Rob Dahlby have all received Mighty Oak Awards in six categories: Administration, Hedberg Library, Public Works, Police, Fire, and Neighborhood and Community Services.

The Mighty Oak Award is given out twice a year, once in the Spring and once in the fall.
