As Rock County continues to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, the Public Health Department is making some changes to COVID resources in the community.

Public Health Strategist Michael Niles says due to low case numbers, they’ll be ending their relationship with the Summit Clinical Lab testing sites in Janesville and Beloit on March 31st and April 28th, respectively.

Niles says they’re epidemiologist has also decided to phase out reporting weekly COVID numbers, citing low case numbers and the date the state and C-D-C provides is enough to keep people informed.

Both testing sites will continue to take walk in testing until their respective closing dates.
