
The Children’s Museum of Rock County is transitioning away from the PLAY Kit stops it has become known for coming out of the pandemic.
Board President Claire Gray says the children’s museum will hold its inaugural Museum on Wheels on Saturday at the winter farmers market at Uptown Janesville.
Kids who attend the event this Saturday will be able to learn about Irish folklore, history, and its ties to Rock County; drive the snakes of of Ireland like St. Patrick with a round of mini golf; then take a stroll down the activity table to build your own leprechaun.
Gray says the children’s museum hopes to announce the location of a permanent downtown location soon.
