The Friends of the Woodman’s Center announced Thursday they started a new fundraising campaign this week in partnership with RockStep Capital.

Volunteer and Chair Sean Knott says the campaign is called “Together We Can” and it has the goal of raising an addiontal $1 million in private funding for the project by March 22nd.

Knott says the campaign feeds into the group’s overall goal to raise $9 million by the end of May, and as of Thursday afternoon they’ve raised $6 million towards that goal.

According to a release, Together We Can pledges are expected to help the group reach $7 million in private donor contributions by early Spring.
