New County-wide initiatives and a revamped website appear to be paying off for the Jefferson County Area Tourism Council.
President Katie Newcomb says the J-C-A-T-C’s website had 200,000 views in 2022 – the most it’s ever had.
The increase in web views is due in part to the group’s growth over the past two years, including the addition of such countywide promotions as the Wedding Resource Guide and Barn Quilt Tour. The group also continued their monthly online contest for Jefferson County restaurant gift cards and revamped their website in 2021.
The Jefferson County Area Tourism Council is a grass-roots organization with the sole purpose of increasing tourism throughout the entire Jefferson County, Wisconsin area. The group consists of representatives from area chambers, municipal tourism departments, and businesses.
