Edgerton Hospital is hosting a blood drive next week to help kick off the new year.

Lab Manager Kristine Wonder says they’re partnering with the Rock River Valley Blood Center on the drive, and they’re the main supplier of blood to local hospitals, so those who donate will be helping those right here in the community.

Wonder says they’ve had a TV donated and whenever someone donates blood, they’ll be entered into a drawing to possibly win the TV. Donors will also be given a coupon for a free pint of custard from Culvers for donating.

Wonder says they will accept walk ins, but people can always schedule an appointment by visiting rrvbc.org.

The blood drive takes place next Thursday the 5th at Edgerton Hospital Health Services from 10:00am until 3:00pm.
