Three local organizations are teaming up to put on a class to inform the public on how they can begin the path to home ownership.

Community Action Executive Director Marc Perry says they’ll be joined by Acts Housing and Neighbor Works Blackhawk Region as they teach those in attendance about housing and home ownership programs and possibilities.

Perry says making sure people have access to information on housing is always an issue, so getting together to inform people will hopefully let people know that they can own their own home when previously they might not have.

The class takes place at 4:00pm Wednesday at Merrill Elementary school, and will be followed by a complimentary dinner.
