A member of the Orfordville Country Riders Snowmobile Club has been named as Miss Snowflake for the state of Wisconson.

Rock County native Rachyl Burzinski says it’s a huge honor to be named and she’s looking forward to spending the next year spreading awareness and promoting snowmobiling across the state.

Burzinski says the Miss Snowflake pageant isn’t your typical pageant, with a two day affair of public speaking sessions, networking events, and a test of general knowledge of snowmobiling.

The Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs holds an annual fall workshop, which serves as the official kick off for the more than 600 snowmobile clubs who help maintain trails throughout Wisconsin.
