With a long list of safety improvements coming to the West Court Street corridor in Janesville, city officials are giving residents the opportunity to learn more about the project.

Assistant City Engineer Ahna Bizjack says the project will see the conversion of the existing four lane undivided cross section to a three lane cross section, the addition of dedicated bike lanes, and improved street lighting.

Bizjack says the forum will have exhibits showing preliminary design concepts, and city and design consultant representatives will be available to answer questions.

The open house forum takes place next Wednesday at 5:00pm on the fourth floor of city hall in Janesville.
