Solar energy projects in the Town of Beloit and in Albany are wrapping up on the initial site work.

Alliant Spokesperson Chris Caporale says the goal for the projects was to have them completed by the end of next year, and these two projects look to be on schedule to be completed by then.

Caporale says after Town of Beloit officials raised some concerns, Alliant and town supervisors came to an agreement making sure that Alliant pays for any damage done to roads, pays additional permit fees, and work hours were set.

The Town of Beloit Project will cost $98 million, while the Albany project has a price tag of $78 million.
