The City of Janesville kicks off the two-and-a-half miles of road resurfacing that makes up it’s annual street rehabilitation program.

Assistant City Engineer Lisa Wolf says resurfacing will be happening on sections of South Crosby Avenue, Sylvester Street, South Washington Street, Kellogg Avenue, Center Avenue, and south Arch Street.

Kellogg Avenue will be the only street that’s closed to through traffic during the duration of the work.

Wolf says the work is expected to wrap up on Saturday if the weather cooperates.
