Two suspects in the theft of money from a Beloit ATM machine are taken into custody.

32-year-old Darrian Dejuan Haywood and 30-year-old Darrell Wayne Jones, both from Texas, face charges of money laundering, as well as fugitive warrants.

Beloit Police say the theft happened early Wednesday morning of last week at the Educators Credit Union on Cranston Road.

Police say cash boxes from an ATM were forcibly removed.

A vehicle containing Haywood and Jones was stopped just northeast of Houston on Thursday.

Almost $40,000 in cash was recovered from the vehicle.

Two other suspects who fled the scene of the crime are being sought.

Beloit Police are working with the Rock County District Attorney’s Office regarding the case.
