A suspect in a Sunday shooting in Janesville has been arrested.

At about 3:00pm Monday, the Janesville Police Department Street Crimes Unit was conducting covert surveillance when they observed the shooting suspect, Nathan R. Williams of Beloit, driving a vehicle in the area of Kettering Street and Whitney Street.

Officers conducted a high-risk traffic stop on the vehicle and were able to take Williams into custody. Williams was later arrested and transported to the Rock County Jail on multiple drug charges and charges of recklessly endangering safety, substantial battery while armed, and two counts of attempted first degree intentional homicide.

This investigation is currently ongoing.
