vote-21

With three candidates dropping out of the Democratic primary for US Senate local municipal clerks are getting requests from voters who want a new ballot.

Rock County Clerk Lisa Tollefson says it’s not too late to spoil your ballot if you’ve already voted absentee for the August 9th partisan primary election.

Tollefson says it will have to be done in person by 5:00 p.m. Friday.

Tollefson says if you don’t spoil your returned absentee ballot by the deadline, it will be counted on election day, even if you turn up at the polls.

Tollefson says if you never turned in your absentee ballot, you can call to have it canceled, and vote in person on Tuesday.
